Thinning Is Not Topping
A lot of homeowners think cutting the top off a tall tree makes it safer. Topping does the opposite, creating weak regrowth and long term decay.
Thinning opens the canopy so wind moves through it, and reduction brings an oversized crown back into a safe footprint using proper cuts.

The Approach We Take
We remove selected interior limbs rather than shearing the outside of the canopy.
Reduction cuts are made back to a suitable lateral branch so the tree keeps a natural shape and a healthy leader.
